Privacy policy

Last updated November 3, 2026.

This policy explains what data RadioTrotter (radiotrotter.com and the app, once released) processes, why, and your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, for visitors from the EU and UK, the GDPR.

Who is responsible

Controller: Marcos Henrique da Silva Andrade, Brazil. Privacy contact: contato@radiotrotter.com.

What stays on your device

Your favorite stations, the last station played, volume and chosen language are stored only in your browser (local storage and a language cookie). We do not send them to any server. Clear the site data in your browser to delete them.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

When you play a station or see the weather

To play a station, your browser connects directly to the broadcaster's server and to Radio Browser (which provides the stream address). To show the weather, it queries Open-Meteo. These services receive your IP address, as with any internet request, and follow their own policies.

Forms

If you write to us, we keep your name, e-mail, message, the page you wrote from and your approximate country, only to reply and handle your request (legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest). Data is stored with Cloudflare and deleted within 12 months after the matter is resolved.

Advertising

The site may show Google AdSense ads. When it does, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, including personalised ads. Visitors from the EU and UK will first see a notice to accept or refuse. You can manage personalisation at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. This policy will be updated before ads are switched on.

Your rights

You may request confirmation, access, correction, deletion and information about how your data is used, and complain to the relevant data protection authority. Just write to contato@radiotrotter.com.
